New Hair Cut!

After 3 years of long hair I decided to take the plunge and cut 6+ inches off. I was ready for a change and boy did I get it! I'm not the type of person that gets really attached to their hair because I know it'll grow back. I was going for a look Jennifer Aniston had a few years back when she cut her hair short with a slight "A" line. I was a little shocked at the amount of hair that I saw on the ground (I have fairly thick hair). A stylist at the Aveda salon was sweeping up hair and commented that I had enough hair to stuff a small pillow! I also have a few highlights from a month ago ( I really need to get those touched up)!

The Sistas

While home for Christmas Taylor and I had a night out with Chelsea and Darrell Ann! It was so much fun to hang out and chill! Chelsea lives in D.C. so we don't get to see each other very often. She is one of my best friends, we've known each other since we were two and now that we're older our sisters are also great friends too which is tons of fun, we are the Sistas Club now! Taylor, Darrell Ann, and I are going fishing this summer in Alaska and we are trying to convince Chelsea to join us for another Sistas reunion! Maybe I'm biased but don't we look related? People use to ask Chelsea and I if were were sisters and now they ask Taylor and Darrell Ann that all the time!

Goodbye To Primary

A few weeks ago we were released from Primary. We had taught the same class for 1 1/2 years. We are sad to leave our class and the cute kids we teach but we are excited to serve in another area yet to be called. One of our kids colored some pictures for us and Brandon though I should post them. The one of us is great because it shows Brandon and I connected by a string and Brandon thinks this is me with him on a leash!

Yes, I Have Joined the 21st Century!

As Brandon joked in the previous post I now own a techy device called the Droid Eris. It's certainly an upgrade from my last phone and has a data plan to keep me in touch with the real world! For those of you who don't know me, I pretty much can go a week or more without checking my e-mail and it doesn't even phase me. I enjoy getting on the computer once in a while and looking at a few favorite websites, blogs, etc. but It's not something I have to do religiously on a daily basis. Brandon on the other hand lives connected to the internet through his computer at work, cell phone, or ipod touch, he never misses a thing! I think part of the reason I'm not constantly connected is because I don't sit in front of a computer all day and second, if I want to talk to someone I usually just call them. Brandon teases me about this all the time so here is my first step in becoming more techy, just don't ask me to start twittering :)

Big news from the Farmers!

I'm happy to announce that Kristen will be carrying something new around with her everywhere she goes. :)

That's right! We are so excited for her and the new opportunities this will bring into our life. Be sure to give her a call, or drop her a text or email to congratulate her.
