Our story begins at the local grocery store. We went in looking for a nice tri-tip steak, but on first glance we couldn't find one. When we asked the meat department lady if they had any, she said they had tri-tip roasts that they could cut into steaks for us. So we got our steaks, and a few other BBQ necessities, and headed home.
Once at home, I heated up the grill while Kristen prepared some salads and started some water for the corn-on-the-cob. I don't know if any of you have ever heard of Pappy's Choice seasoning, but let me tell you: this stuff is amazing! A friend of mine had recommended it to me awhile back and I'd never really had a chance to use it yet, but I used it as a rub on the steaks, put them out to grill for about 13 minutes, and wound up with the most delectable steaks I've ever had.
That's right -- the best steak I've *ever* had - hand's down. No exaggerating.
So, for anyone out there still looking for a father's day present, search for Pappy's Choice Seasoning, and buy some for that special griller in your life. You won't regret it.

Yum! Jason would be in heaven if I made that. I'll have to try it sometime.
Sounds awesome! Aaron and I sure love a good cut of steak & I'm excited to try out a new seasoning! :)
We are the lucky recipients of some Pappy's seasonings and it is wonderful! I like to have different flavor choices and so does the fam!
