We are happy to announce we will be adding a new member to our family- finally! Our little one will arrive around February 19th 2012! Brandon and I are really excited and a little nervous. We have been trying to start a family for awhile and are thankful for modern medicine! This is a picture of the onsie we gave to each of our families as a way to annouce our good news. I think my Mom thought she was never going to be a Grandma or "Lo Lo" as she wants to be called! I think the words on this onsie sum up what we feel and what we have felt. Some things in life just take time and happen on the Lord's clock. The Plan we think we know or have figured out is not always His plan. But all the tears, waves of emotion, and hard work is worth it in the end. Thank you for all your love and support. As I write this post I am mindful of you out there who are still struggling with starting a family. I know what it is like to hear of a friend or relative who announces the good news. You are very happy for them on one hand but it also hits a tender spot on the other. We wish you all the best as you continue and know we are thinking of you!

Congrats! I am so happy for you! We really still need to get together sometime, life has been crazy but will soon be slowing down when Braedon heads off to school in a couple of weeks. (and yes, this is Linsey your freshman roommate!)
Oh my goodness, Kristen, soooooo fabulous! When you told me the news on the phone I had to hold back the tears I was so incredibly happy for you guys. You will soon be joining the wonderful, exhausting, rewarding, AMAZING world of parenthood. Hooray! :) Also, I think what you said about those still waiting for kids was so heartfelt. It seems to be a common trial for so many amazing people (and one that isn't often spoken of).
Meanwhile, can't wait to give you the gift I have for baby Farmer! (It may or may not have arrived via Amazon.com today). :)
Wahoo!!! You guys are going to be great parents. I'm so sad I didn't get to see you last month but over christmas we need to make it happen. I am so excited for you!!! Love ya!
